'Folding up and down' Samsung Folder 'Galaxy X' released early next year?
Samsung Electronics is expected to launch a foldable smartphone 'Galaxy X (Ten)' that folds up and down early next year.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Samsung Electronics will launch its Galaxy X folder, a code-named 'Winner', which will be developed in early 2019, according to an internal source.

So far, the design of the Samsung FolderBoard has not been folded on both sides. This is largely a departure from the expectation that Samsung Electronics will bring out folder folding screens on both sides.
According to reports, Samsung Electronics has a smart phone that folds up and down. It is likely to be a wallet shape or a folding mobile phone in the past. When folding the smartphone in half, it is expected that there will be a camera behind the outside and a small display on the front.
When the folder is opened, the screen size will be about 7 inches. The Galaxy Note 9 released on August 9 is about 6.4 inches, and the previous Galaxy Note 8 is 6.3 inches.
There is a good chance that you will only print a small number of quantities to look at the market reaction. Samsung Electronics is expected to mass-produce this folder in the second half of next year if it succeeds.
The problem is price. The price of the 'Galaxy X' folder is likely to exceed $ 1,500. It is double the price of Galaxy S9 basic model.
Samsung Electronics expects the 'Galaxy X' to play a new role as premium smartphones are leveled up and Chinese makers continue to chase.
